Discovering Art Deco
As part of their Art Deco by the Sea exhibition, I collaborated with the Sainsbury Centre of Visual Arts (SCVA) to create a map exploring Art Deco architecture in the East of England. I researched and found the hidden gems within the region. The map introduces Art Deco, explains the style, how to find the unique architecture and where to discover the region's present and lost places.
Exploring Your Own Backyard
The map was launched right when COVID hit. Instead of being printed, the map was available online. The SCVA were beyond happy with the map. They had great feedback from people saying how it gave them new places to explore during COVID, helping with their mental health.
